Letʼsdoc Fellowship Programme aims to support the alternative independent documentary vision and foster emerging talents through two-stage mentoring at incubation labs of 4 days each. Participants will be mentored by some of the prominent Indian filmmakers in the field of documentary.

The specially designed fellowship programme intends to encourage talented, emerging documentary storytellers take their artistic work forward for possible completion through guided development of proposed ideas and future networking with international producing, co-creation and creative collaboration.

Let’sdoc offers further development of the proposed documentary, providing input on skill of writing for documentary and creating a visual trailer to deal with the increasingly competitive environment of international co-production.

The fellows are intensively mentored to fine-tune their creative applications and intended object of the proposed story/idea with critical input from seasoned storytellers so that they find clarity and deal in telling their stories better.

The mentoring process leads to the Fellowship Grant that supports two promising projects with a cash grant of Rs.1,00,000 each and follow-up mentoring and co-production guidance. The grantees will be selected by the mentors based on the promise and progressive development of the projects and decided at the end of 2nd session in November 2019.The Grant intends to support further research, development and visual trailer.
