Colin Wee Colin Wee | Founder, Two Lefthands and Associate Director, Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association | Singapore

Colin Wee is theAssociate Director at Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association (SAAVA) and also founder of Two Lefthands, a commercial production house. While his career began in the commercial sector, his practice has been deeply rooted in independent documentary filmmaking, shaped by a long-standing personal and creative engagement with India. He has collaborated with brands such as Rolls-Royce Engines, Singapore Airlines, and Tom Ford, experiences that strengthened his focus on feature-length, narrative-driven storytelling.

In 2015, Two Lefthands independently wrote, produced, and shot This Is Pushkar, a feature-length documentary filmed over ten years in Pushkar, Rajasthan that received honours at the 2023 Asian Film & TV Awards.

In 2023, he served as Director of Photography on Inside Crime Scene: Season 2, reinforcing his commitment to long-form, investigative, and narrative-led work.

Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association (SAAVA)

Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association (SAAVA) is a non-profit organisation that seeks to unify media producers in the region. The association's mission is to advance creative development across the region, promote Southeast Asian audio-visual content and capabilities internationally, as well as stimulate business collaborations between its members.

By strengthening regional alliances and partnerships between established film producers, as well as encouraging and mentoring new media professionals, SAAVA aims to help its members ride on the growth of the region and succeed in international markets.
