Pankaj Saxena | Artistic Director | National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) | India
A graduate of the prestigious Film and TV Institute of India Pune, Pankaj Saxena is an awarded film maker, global traveller, published writer, cinema academic and lifelong student of screen arts. He has held senior positions at Discovery Channel, BBC Worldwide and Lok Sabha TV among others.
All through his work life, Pankaj has made time to spread film education by contributing to prestigious film and media schools such as FTII Pune, SRFTI Kolkata, Asian College of Journalism Chennai and RV University Bengaluru.
Pankaj enjoys spreading the joy of cinema by organizing film festivals, leading film appreciation programmes and conducting cinema-oriented conversations across India and the world. He is currently the Artistic Director at the National Film Development Corporation.

National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) aims to develop talent and facilitate the growth of Indian cinema in all languages through productions and co-productions, script development, and need-based workshops, while promoting Indian culture through cinema in India and overseas and building a lean and flexible organisation responsive to the needs of the Indian film industry.
NFDC is breaking new ground by co-producing projects involving public-private partnerships and facilitates line production services for shooting in India as well as animation services for overseas clients. NFDC also organises Film Bazaar India, a co-production and distribution market for the South Asian region, alongside the International Film Festival of India, Goa.
