Aparna Sanyal is a National Film Award-winning documentary filmmaker, producer, and cultural leader with over two decades of experience across Indian and international media platforms, including the BBC, CNN International, and Times Network. She currently serves as Director of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust (PSBT), where she is strengthening commissioning frameworks, mentorship pathways, and global collaborations for independent nonfiction filmmakers. Aparna is the conceptualiser of Doc_Commune, a mentoring initiative that has supported more than 150 emerging filmmakers.
