Gunny Hyoung | Artistic Director | EBS Korea / EIDF | South Korea

After training in architecture, Gunny worked at an architectural office, focusing on photography and drawing. As his interest in film and television grew stronger, he later transferred to an American school to pursue this direction. He went on to work in the Special Documentary division of a public TV network and became one of the founding members of the EIDF (EBS International Documentary Film Festival). He is currently involved with the K-DOCS industry and EIDF Films. EIDF acquires non-fiction films for television broadcasting, and its industry platform also provides basic funding support.

EBS Korea / EIDF

EIDF is organized by Public TV in Korea. Both documentary and Children's Programmes are strong points of EBS. EIDF is an annual documentary film festival integrated with television broadcasting, and most of the selected films are aired on TV during the festival period in summer.
