Company Profile

Docaviv NPO – The Tel Aviv Documentary Film Festival was established in 1998, in order to promote documentary filmmaking in Israel and abroad.
Docaviv is Tel Aviv's largest film festival and the only festival in Israel which is solely dedicated to documentary filmmaking. The festival draws a diverse audience from all over the country who enjoys Israeli and International documentary premiers. In 2015, Over 50,000 people attended Docaviv Film Festival In Tel Aviv.
In 2009 Docaviv NPO launched Docaviv Galilee – a documentary film festival in Ma'alot - Tarshicha. In December 2015 Docaviv founded the Docaviv Negev Film Festival in Yerucham, drawing over 2,000 people to its screenings for the second year consecutively. Throughout the year, Docaviv holds dozens of screenings, documentary workshops for youth and budding filmmakers, master classes and meetings with professional filmmakers – all held in locations chosen for their accessibility to a variety of Israeli communities.
