Seokpil Kang, Korea

Seokpil Kang majored in political science and began his career in 1997 as a documentary producer and director. His films has been invited to many international film festivals including Berlin International Film Festival(Forum), IDFA, Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival. His recent work Boys Run, the second part of village trilogy, won the Best Korean Documentary Award at Busan Int’l Film Festival in 2015.

Docs Port Incheon, initiated and run by Incheon Film Commission, is a platform where Asian documentary makers meet together, get opportunities for training, funding and coproduction and find bridges to non-Asian countries. Docs Port Incheon had just the second edition in 2015 and built its role already in Asian documentary scene. Unique and creative Asian documentary projects are sought for to be presented at the third edition in November 2016.
