Yoshihiko Ichiya is engaged in developing, commissioning and co-producing documentary content for NHK. He started his career at Japan’s public broadcaster as documentary director more than 30 years ago. Until recently he run NHK’s “World Documentary” strand, curating about 100 new titles every year from around the world.

The categories include Social Issues, Human Interest, Environment, Science, Travelogue, Current Affairs, etc in the format of 50-120 minutes, 2K/4K/8K.
