Associate Manager, Industry Relations & Artist Programs

Points North Institute | United States

BIO
Kate Lemberg is the Associate Manager of Industry Relations & Artist Programs at Points North Institute/Camden International Film Festival, where, in addition to supporting the operations of PNI’s Artist Programs and maintaining PNI’s industry relationships, her primary focus is producing their 1:1 Meetings market. In addition to her work at PNI, Kate is a staff programmer at RiverRun International Film Festival in North Carolina; a member of the Artist Relations team at Tribeca Festival; and she has screened for Newfest, Rooftop Films, Camden, Austin, Brooklyn, and more. Having begun her work on the film festival circuit in venue and ticketing operations—having previously done so at Sundance, Tribeca, DOC NYC, True/False, Hamptons, Newfest, and more—she still works in those arenas on occasion. Kate is a proud alum of both the BA and MA programs in Cinema Studies at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Institute/ Organization Profile
The Points North Institute is a launching pad for the next generation of nonfiction storytellers. We build a unique, interdisciplinary community of filmmakers, artists, journalists, industry leaders, and local audiences, forming a creative hub where stories and talent are discovered, collaborations are born, and the future of nonfiction media is shaped. Our programs include the annual Camden International Film Festival and Points North Forum, as well as a growing suite of artist development initiatives: retreats, residencies, workshops, and fellowships that nurture the careers of diverse nonfiction storytellers and help them develop a stronger artistic voice. These fellowships include the Points North Fellowship & Pitch; the North Star Fellowship; the LEF/CIFF Fellowship, the American Stories Documentary Fund; and other funds and fellowships in development to be announced later this year.
