RAGNHILD EK, Filmmaker, Consultant, IEFTA, France

An award-winning filmmaker and communications expert Ragnhild Ek’s primary focus has been on refugee storytelling throughout her career. Ragnhild has served with the UN Refugee Agency, spearheading international campaigns as well as heading its Video Unit and managing content teams worldwide. Currently she is also a consultant for the Monaco-based organisation IEFTA.

INSTITUTE PROFILE

The International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) is a Monaco based non- governmental organisation founded with the purpose of discovering and developing film talent from emerging regions, globally. The organisation connects filmmakers to established industry professionals; engage them in cultural diversity and foster relationships through mentoring, inspiring and educational ways. IEFTA supports local, sustainable infrastructures, respect and protection of human rights, international labour law and environmental impact. The non-profit organisation also promotes festivals, exhibition, education and development.
