MAËLLE GUENEGUES MAËLLE GUENEGUES, Co-founder CAT&Docs, France

Maëlle Guenegues, after collaborating with different festivals in France (like Les Rencontres du Cinéma, Sunny Side of the Doc, FIPA), started working in International Distribution with Point du Jour International and Doc & Co (now Doc & Film International). She later joined Catherine Le Clef to set up CAT&Docs in 2009.
CAT&Docs is dedicated to the promotion and distribution of all types of docs, in all media around the world - pertinent and impertinent docs on topical questions and timeless subjects; docs that are carefully researched, audacious, question the world and propose new ways of looking at it. Successful titles include “The Poetess”, “Communion”, “The Good Postman”, “Stranger in Paradise”, “Houston, We Have a Problem!”, “Cameraperson”, “Sonita”, “A Syrian Love Story”, “CITIZEN FOUR”, “My Love Don‘t Cross That River”, “Of Men and War”, “5 Broken Cameras”, “Planet of Snail” and “Last Train Home” to name a few. Its recent acquisitions include “Los Reyes, Buddy”, “The Magic Life V”, “When the War Comes”, “The Night”, “Entrepreneur” and “Ethiopiques – Revolt of the Soul”.
