Park received her Master degree in Cinema Studies of Korea National University of Arts. She has been working for DMZ Korean International Documentary Film Festival(DMZ Docs) since 2011 as a programmer. In addition, she’s been also managing DMZ Docs Production Funds to offer production support to Korean as well as pan-Asian projects. DMZ Docs began in 2009, which is held in the nearest places from DMZ, Demilitarized Zone, which is the bumper zone between North Korea and South Korea. DMZ Docs usually screens about 100 documentary films from all over the world with various programs including International, Asian and Korean competition sections. As a platform to connect Asian documentary filmmakers and promote networking within and outside of the Asia, it has been running the DMZ Docs Funds which is supporting Korean and Asian documentary films.
